UV radiation is present throughout the year and can have both beneficial and harmful effects. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may lead to sunburn, skin discoloration, and an increased risk of developing skin cancer.

A shirt made from standard cotton provides only minimal protection against harmful UV rays. In this case, the UPF rating is around 5, meaning that approximately 1/5 of harmful UV radiation can reach the skin. This is far too much!

Our garments feature UPF 50 protection, meaning that the fabric provides up to 98% protection against UV radiation.

In addition, the shirt is quick-drying, while the incorporated silver ions help prevent bacterial growth and the development of unpleasant odors.

For increased comfort during equestrian training, our shirts feature an additional anti-insect treatment that effectively helps reduce mosquito bites and provides protection against ticks.

Technical Specifications

The Sanitized® AM 23-24 treatment used in the garment has been dermatologically tested and is safe for both humans and horses. The treatment remains effective for up to 50 washes.
